What this site publishes
This is a register of establishments — premises approved to handle products of animal origin. We publish what the FSA publishes about them: approval number, trading name, town, country, competent authority and approved activities, plus the months in which each appears in an FSA snapshot.
Never the street address, never the coordinates. Both are in the source; neither appears anywhere on this site. And the 1,019 establishments whose address the source marks as withheld carry no town either — not on a page, and not in the search index. Many small food businesses operate from a home, and the source's flag is there for a reason.
What your browser sends
No analytics, no advertising, no cookies, no third-party scripts. Static files only.
Your search never reaches a server. It lives after the
#, which browsers do not transmit, and the lookup runs locally
against static index files.
The host, Cloudflare Pages, keeps ordinary server logs — IP address, time, file requested — as any host does. We have no per-visitor analytics.
If you send us a message
Three forms collect an email address: a sourcing enquiry, a bulk access or dataset enquiry, and the contact form. All are handled by Formspree, which forwards them to our mailbox.
- Sourcing enquiries — we reply, and we pass the enquiry to establishments that are on the register so they can respond to you. That is the point of the form, and it says so above the button. We do not sell lists, and we pass nothing on if you tell us not to.
- Bulk access and dataset enquiries — we reply and keep the exchange while the enquiry is live.
Ask us to delete what you sent and we will, at the contact address.
If this is your establishment
Your approval is a public fact and we republish it as the FSA does. If something here is wrong — in particular if a page implies you left the register when you were renumbered or moved authority — write to us. We will not change what the source says, but we will make sure the page does not imply more than the source supports.
