What you can type

• The approval number, exactly as it is printed inside the oval. Three formats coexist in this register — 1000 (the national number), AR 001 (the older local number) and 1 UK 22028 — and all three are searchable as written.
• The trading name, or part of it.

Every entry shows the whole span: the first month the number appears in an FSA snapshot, the last, and how many months in between.

Your search never reaches a server. It lives in the part of the address after the #, which browsers do not transmit, and the lookup runs in your browser against static index files.

Not finding a number does not mean unapproved. This file covers England and Wales plus the Crown Dependencies. It stopped covering Scotland and Northern Ireland in April 2022, and it has never covered establishments outside the UK.
